My journey

Megan’s path into counseling has been both expansive and deeply rooted in a desire to walk alongside others through meaningful and often challenging life experiences.

She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, where she gained experience working with survivors of trauma. Her professional background includes working with individuals in the foster care system as well as adults navigating the impact of domestic violence—experiences that have shaped her compassionate, steady, and client-centered approach.

Originally from a small town south of Houston, Megan moved to Dallas for college and has since made it home. She works with adolescents, adults, and couples, creating a space that is respectful and inclusive of all faiths and backgrounds.

In her words:

My path has been winding in many ways, but always centered around healing and connection.

I meet people where they are first and foremost. My goal is to create a space that feels reflective, validating, and supportive—where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.

I also believe in offering practical tools along the way, especially in moments of struggle, so you feel more equipped and supported as you move through your experiences.

My approach

My approach to counseling is rooted in relationship, safety, and meeting you where you are.

I work from a trauma-informed and relational lens, drawing from approaches like Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and Marriage and Family Therapy to better understand how your experiences and relationships have shaped you. Together, we create a space that feels steady, reflective, and supportive—where you can begin to make sense of what you’re going through.

I also integrate experiential approaches such as play therapy, sandtray, and EMDR when it feels helpful—offering ways to process experiences that may be difficult to put into words. Along the way, I incorporate practical tools, including Behavioral Skills Training and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help you feel more equipped in moments of stress or uncertainty.

My goal is to support you in a way that feels both grounding and empowering—offering care, perspective, and tools as you move through your process.
