Hi, I’m Jessica. I work out of our Mansfield office and offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
As a wife and mom, I’m especially passionate about supporting families. I enjoy creating a welcoming space for children, adolescents, young adults, and parents to learn practical skills and strategies that strengthen mental health and relationships.
Jessica’s path into counseling has been shaped by a clear focus on supporting families and the relationships that influence overall well-being.
Early in her career, she recognized that children and adolescents were often an underserved population in the community. She began working closely with younger clients, supporting them through life transitions, social challenges, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, academic-related stressors, and the feeling of being overwhelmed.
Through this work, Jessica came to understand the vital role that parents play in a child’s growth and healing. This led her to expand her focus to include working individually with parents—supporting them in areas such as emotional awareness, regulation, communication, and self-care. She believes that when caregivers feel more supported and equipped, it creates a stronger foundation for the entire family system.
Jessica has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, including inpatient care, high school and college counseling environments, and private practice. These experiences have shaped her ability to meet clients where they are and provide practical, meaningful support.
In her words:
I’ve always been drawn to working with families and understanding how each person’s experience impacts the whole.
Over time, I’ve come to see how important it is to support both children and their parents—because growth and healing often happen within those relationships.
When one part of the system is supported, it often creates positive change for everyone.
My approach to therapy is client-led and collaborative. I believe you are the expert of your own life—even when it may not feel that way—and my role is to come alongside you with support, guidance, and perspective.
I aim to gently challenge patterns of thinking, offer emotional support, and encourage growth as you navigate the season that brings you here. Together, we focus on building awareness and developing practical tools that can be applied in your everyday life.
I draw from Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also taking a whole-person approach—considering the connection between mind, body, and spirit (whatever that may look like for you). When these areas feel more balanced, it often becomes easier to engage in self-care, communicate effectively, understand triggers, regulate emotions, and establish healthy boundaries.
When working with children and adolescents, sessions are tailored to their developmental level and may include play, games, art, and creative expression alongside conversation—creating a space that feels both engaging and supportive.
