Additionally, as an entrepreneur and business owner, I managed a staff of professionals, training and promoting their careers as well as the agency. After 20 plus years, I moved from Alaska to North Texas, where I am happy to be. Even though I still have active property and casualty and life and health insurance licenses in Texas, I decided to make one more change. I transitioned my insurance and business consulting knowledge to the more personal Life Coaching model. My intention and methods are solution focused -- based on the goals my client(s) wants to achieve. I worked with individuals, couples, and groups.
Now, I parlay all of that into Hillside. I am the Administrative Agency Manager. While I do a lot of things behind the scenes (such as credentialing, accounting pieces, and logistics), it's the relationships that I build that mean the most. I provide bridging between you - the client - and our therapists. Often from the first phone call, through your first step into our door all the way to leaving with that exhale of relief (that you just got started), I care. I care for you and your journey.
We provide a net of caring. bring my other set of skills to the table keeping up with agency growth, accountability, credentialing, public relations, employee tracks, etc. And a possible "horizon" project is establishing the non-profit part of Hillside Counseling so we can have more resources to reach out and be a bigger part....making a healthier community!
My experience, training and life's journey has converged to bring me to a place of gratitude and fun. I get to help people connect with a life that is more satisfying and rewarding in both their professional and personal selves. And MY litmus test? So am I!
I look forward to seeing you at the office!
Jeff Schulz, CLC
Administrative Agency Manager
My name is Jeff Schulz and I am a Professional Life Coach and Hillside's Business Director. Wearing a couple of hats (at least), let me introduce myself.
I have always gravitated towards helping others and guiding individuals and families to ensure a better future. My career path started with selling life insurance in Iowa, following in my dad's footsteps. A few years later I moved to Anchorage, Alaska and became an insurance agent with Allstate Insurance Company, later I owned my insurance agency in Anchorage. I currently maintain my property and casualty and life and health insurance licenses in Texas, and I held my series 6 and 63 securities licenses, enabling me to participate in third party financial planning and investment procurement.
