Brittany Hicks, MS, LPC
Psychotherapist
Licensed Professional Counselor

I provide counseling with the creation of a client lead, collaborative, and compassionate working relationship. Building trust and making sure that clients feel heard and understood are qualities I hold in very high regard. I believe that this trust and empathy promote a non-judgmental space where all identities, cultures, and backgrounds are respected. I also value pointing out strengths and teaching needed skills that allow for restorative healing.
I routinely address and work with people who are navigating:
-
Anxiety including Social Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Coping/ Emotional Dysregulation
-
Families
-
Grief & Loss
-
Anger Management
-
Parenting Skills/Co-parenting
-
Self-Esteem/ Self-Compassion
-
Relationship Building
Some of the tools and modalities I use in therapy include Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Therapies. I tailor therapy to the individual needs of each client.
I look forward to working with you,
Brittany
