My journey

Mark’s path into counseling has been shaped by decades of experience, a deep sense of calling, and a commitment to helping others move toward wholeness.

With a background that includes both a Master of Arts and a Master of Divinity, along with licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Mark’s work has been influenced by both clinical training and a pastoral foundation. It was through this combination that his passion for counseling fully took shape.

For over 30 years, Mark has been walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. Beginning as a pastoral counselor and continuing through advanced clinical work, his experience has provided him with a broad and adaptable perspective—allowing him to draw from a wide range of approaches to meet each person where they are.

In his words:

Counseling has been a calling in my life for many years. It’s where I find purpose and connection in the work I do.

Over time, I’ve come to see that there isn’t just one path forward. My goal is to offer a range of ways to approach the work, so each person can find what leads them toward wholeness and a renewed sense of life.

My approach

I believe the foundation of any meaningful therapeutic relationship is trust and rapport. Creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood is central to the work we do together.

Through listening to your story with acceptance, compassion, and thoughtful curiosity, my goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself. From there, we can begin to explore new perspectives and pathways forward.

I value being able to walk alongside you as you move toward a renewed sense of direction, growth, and new life.
