Hi, I’m Brittany. I am based out of our Old Town Burleson location, and in my role as Clinical Director, I also support clients and teams across our Hillside locations.
Through my work and life experiences, I’ve come to deeply value the capacity of the human heart—to heal, to grow, and to find meaning even in difficult places. I strive to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and not alone in the process. However I can help, I am here for you.
Brittany’s path into counseling is deeply personal—shaped by her own experiences of loss, trauma, and the process of healing over time.
Her journey began early, finding herself on the client’s couch as a teenager. That experience became the foundation for a lifelong commitment to self-exploration, growth, and understanding the complexity of the human experience. She brings that perspective into her work today, holding space for others with both depth and authenticity.
Brittany was born and raised in Texas and earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Development from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. Her clinical experience spans multiple levels of care and diverse settings, working with a wide range of clients and needs.
Since joining Hillside Counseling in 2018, Brittany has continued to grow in both her clinical and leadership roles. As Clinical Director, she not only serves clients directly but also mentors therapists, supports the administrative team, and helps guide clinical decision-making—allowing her to impact the work of the practice both in and beyond the therapy room.
At the core of her work is a belief that we are always in process—continually learning, growing, and uncovering new layers of ourselves.
In her words:
My healing journey began early and continues today. I’ve learned what it means to meet myself in the depths, and that’s something I bring into this work with others.
We are people in a process—always evolving, always becoming. I believe there is something meaningful in being willing to explore those layers, even when it feels uncomfortable or unknown. And, I’m grateful to be able to walk alongside others in that process, both as a therapist and within the broader work we do at Hillside.
I believe that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to come alongside you in a collaborative process—exploring where you are, what you’re experiencing, and what may be calling for attention or movement.
I value a relational and attuned approach, where the work unfolds through connection, curiosity, and a willingness to explore both the surface and the deeper layers of your experience. Together, we look at patterns, relationships, and internal dynamics that may be shaping how you move through your life.
I draw from a variety of approaches—including person-centered therapy, attachment and relational work, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Compassionate Inquiry, and mindfulness-based practices—integrating them in a way that is tailored to you. The goal is not to apply a specific method, but to support you in a way that feels meaningful, responsive, and aligned with your needs.
At the core, I believe therapy is a space for exploration, awareness, and integration—where you can continue to discover, understand, and relate to yourself in new ways.
