Multi-modality experience and training. Extensive use and success with Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral, Adlerian and Solution Focused Therapies. Philosophy We all have ups and downs in life. Sometimes we’re blindsided, sometimes the past sneaks up behind us, other times we just know something is around the corner -- we can see it coming. We want to heal. We want to grow. But, getting stuck in a rut can happen even before we are aware of the walls building up on either side. Whether you are trying to break out of a rut or wanting to get on higher ground in order to gain clarity, growing and changing takes awareness and practice. The pay off can be big and it may mean becoming more in alignment with your purpose or making a turn and finding yourself. It could mean breaking free from an old fear and finding new freedom. I believe that we can all benefit from assistance – assistance in knowing ourselves better, seeing our options clearer, hearing what calls to us. I believe counseling is often saved for times of crisis. However, seeking and accepting guidance to develop solutions and facilitate personal growth is exceptionally beneficial before crises arise. Like getting a physical, or a tune up, or checking the compass to make sure you’re headed in the right direction, counseling / therapy is a healthy addition towards balanced health. Physical health. Mental health. Emotional health. Relationship health. Career health. We are multifaceted. Staying in balance or regaining balance allows us to move forward with our purposeful momentum. I believe that we have purpose in life. I believe that through awareness and insight we can align ourselves with that purpose. So, everyone, take time to learn and breathe and clarify your vision lighten your load and listen to the whisperings of your passion... lest it knock you down when you are not paying attention!
